- Pablo Neruda Poetry Workshop
Is performed since 1988 and is led by the poets Floridor Pérez and Jaime Quezada. Awarded a scholarship for ten months to ten youngs who are starting in poetry. From Thursday 20 January until Friday 18 March, the Pablo Neruda Foundation announces its 2011 traditional poetry workshop for young authors aged 30, chilean and foreign (domestic residents).
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
1.- Curriculum (including full name, ID, age, address, telephone, email, studies) 2.- Literary references (publications, magazines, books, anthologies, readings and lectures participation, awards, experience, workshops, scholarships) 3.- A sample of five unpublished poems. 4.- Brief project about the work to be done during the Workshop.
Applications, with their respective requirements should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the secretariat of the Museum House La Chascona. Or sent by post to the Poetry Workshop, Pablo Neruda Foundation. Fernando Márquez de la Plata 0192. Barrio Bellavista, Santiago.

The workshop begins in april and is taught on mondays from 19 to 21 hours until december.
- Creative Writing Workshop
Each of the twelve sessions is preliminary reading of some works of the authors suggested, biography, and especially the work as a basis for each of the topics covered in the workshop as well as for students' personal development.
Number of lessons: 12 • Day: Wednesday 18 to 20 horas. • Place: Museum House La Chascona: Fernando Márquez de la Plata 0192, Providencia. • Cost: $ 36.600.- each month in three checks. • Total cost:$ 110.000.- Includes the copies of the stories.
Maximum quota: 15 persons.
